With doing all this research on drug testing it has made me wonder why I really did not care when I had to do a drug test. I didn't feel like it was invading my privacy because the employer's are just looking out for themselves and want an employee who is reliable and productive not someone lazy and never shows up to work. For the most part I just took part of the test because I knew if I did not then I would not have got the job that I was applying for. In the end I will leave another cartoon for you to indulge.

HI, I did my essay on drug testing too, and I am also a pro drug test person. It is kind of intersting that the three of us who did drug test topic are all pro drug test. This does strengthen my belive on drug testing. But, personally, i do not think athletes has high piority for drug test than the job that will endanger the public. Yes, I like sport too, but I believe most people in the world have interest on stuffs other than sport. Like I said, the higest piority for drug testing should fall into the group that will affect the biggest general public. I will said like the pilot, the bus drivers, the police, fire fighter. I actually teachers should be drug screened too, because kids in this country or in many country do go to school, teacher is one of their growing model. So, a bad teacher image will affect the students future behavior too, and this can be very harmful. A 747 aircraft can carry over 300 people, so the pilot need to be very carefully choosen for sure.

Pro drug testing....hmmm, controversial subject, I think that sometimes we get general stereotypes of how people perceive people with drugs. Jaspreet, you put up a valid argument-->do you believe people on drugs are lazy, or are bad people who endanger the public. Do you believe that drugs hinder your performance? take for example, a cancer patient who gets treated Chemotherapy who throw up and have to eat after getting treated. Sometimes they have no option other than to smoke marijuana which allows them to have a apetite and to nourish there immune system. Do you believe that they are endangering people, or society? Do you think that those affected should be not allowed to work because of a drug test? Its understandble that a pilot needs to be carefully selected, however would about your other careers...college careers->business majors, engineers. I am not arguing against drugs tests...but rather questioning is it valid to do it under all circumstances. I think crack should definately be illegal. Do you believe there are drugs out their that should be illegal?
